We love Toowoomba and its people. We're proud to offer you our Direct Cremation package - a simple, dignified alternative to a traditional funeral, for $2,750. Below you will find the features and inclusions of our No-Service Direct Cremation Package for Toowoomba.

What is included when choosing the Direct Cremation Package?

  • Transfer of deceased to our private mortuary facility. There is no additional charge for after-hours transfers.

  • Professional mortuary care.

  • Meeting with one of our funeral professionals - either by phone or online (or face-to-face if required).

  • Preparation and lodgement of all required documentation.

  • Provision of standard-sized basic coffin (either sturdy bio-board, or MDF). Larger coffins incur extra cost.

  • Medical doctor’s ‘Permission to Cremate’ certificate.

  • Viewing of deceased at our Brisbane facility (if required). Viewings in Toowoomba are not included in the package, however for a fee we can definitely arrange a viewing to take place in Toowoomba.

  • Provision of official QLD Death Certificate (1 original copy, 6 certified copies).

  • Cremation booking and completion of documentation.

  • Conveyance of deceased to crematorium.

  • Cremation to take place at one of our partner crematoriums in or around Brisbane.

  • Collection of Ashes from crematorium and delivery to you (usually posted securely via Express Post service).

  • Follow-up support and advice.

  • No up-front payments required. Full 30 day account to give you time to finalise the invoice.

How does this compare to cheap internet-based alternatives?

If you search around on the internet you'll find a huge range of options for No-service 'Direct' Cremations. Some of the 'big brand' funeral companies charge significant fees for such a simple service. However recent years have seen many internet-based Direct Cremation providers emerge. Here are six important ways our No-Service Direct Cremation Package compares to the cheap internet alternatives:

1. Personalised Funeral Director Guidance

Most cheap cremation services expect you to complete all the required documentation online. We all know it's easier said than done! We assign one of our experienced Funeral Directors to take care of you throughout this whole process. Usually we would complete all documents over the phone or online, however, a face-to-face meeting can also be arranged. We're here to support you every step of the way.

2. Full Mortuary Care

Saving money on funeral costs shouldn't mean settling for lower quality care. Our professional mortuary staff will ensure your loved one is prepared to take their 'final journey' clean, dignified, and looking peaceful. We don't cut corners behind the scenes. We want everyone to have the best care possible.

3. Viewing Option Included

While you're not planning on having a formal funeral, some people find the chance to farewell their loved one face-to-face is meaningful, and moving. It's included in the package. We offer this option at our main facility in Geebung, on Brisbane's northside. However, it is possible to arrange for a viewing in Toowoomba for an additional fee. Contact us to find out more.

4. Dedicated Transfer Services

In some cases, cheap cremation services outsource their transportation services. This means that staff who handle your loved one may not even work for the company you've called! When we say we take care of your loved one, WE take care of them! We only use third-party transfer services when performing long-distance transfers. Since Toowoomba is not far from Brisbane, there are no additional transportation costs associated with this package.

5. Death Certificate Included

Some cheap cremation providers don't include a copy of the formal QLD Death Certificate in their price. Our package includes one original Death Certificate and six certified photocopies of the original for estate purposes - and we can get more copies certified if you need them.

6. No Upfront Payments or Deposits

​Sometimes you don't have money immediately available to spend on a direct cremation service. Some budget direct cremation providers expect you to pay upfront before they will proceed to the cremation. We never expect upfront payments, and will only send a 30-day invoice to you after the cremation is complete. However, if you want to you can prepay this package, you can!
